The University of Lunsar was founded by a Sierra Leonean couple, Dr. Sheikh Umarr and Dr. Marie Umar-Kamarah, in 2016. Inspired by the “Wisconsin Idea,” the founders believe that the university's existence is predicated upon the conviction that it should improve the lives of those within the community and those around the world. We are dedicated to providing quality and affordable education to students in Sierra Leone and around the globe.
