Programme Structure for the Bachelor of Science Nursing: Completion Stream

Program to be completed in six consecutive semesters with 1 to 2 weeks breaks between semesters (Equivalent of 2 years).

This is a hybrid program with some courses completed online. Online courses will be delivered asynchronously.

Applicants with Higher Teachers Certificate (HTC) from a recognized institution with four credits including English Language and Mathematics at WASSCE or its equivalent will be admitted into the second year.

Entrance Requirements for Bachelor of Science Nursing: Completion stream

• A Diploma in General Nursing
• A minimum of 1-year nursing experience after completion of a Diploma in a General Nursing Programme.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board.
• Credit in 5 WASSCE subjects.

• First Semester (20 credits)
• Second Semester (20 credits)
• Third Semester (20 credits)
• Fourth Semester (20 credits)
• Fifth Semester (20 credits)
• Sixth Semester (20 credits)

PENDING APPROVAL FROM THE TERTIARY EDUCATION COMMISSION
