The aim of the program is to generate academic excellence with theoretical and pragmatic knowledge in the field of Sociology providing outcome-based education and innovating sociological ways of problem-solving to meet the changing regional and global needs. It is also intended to equip students with a sound academic foundation on Sociology that will help them to think critically, communicate meaningfully, act resourcefully, and live ethically.
The general minimum University of Lunsar admission requirement for an undergraduate degree programme is FIVE (5) Credits at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) including and English Language with a minimum grade of C6 in not more than two sittings or TWO (2) Credits of āCā or better at the General Certificate of Education, Advanced level (GCE āAā Level).
