ADMISSION POLICY

POLICY STATEMENT

The avowed goal of the University of Lunsar is to produce well-educated graduates with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to participate fully in a knowledge-based global economy, and to contribute significantly to the transformation of their society. To achieve the above goal, the University of Lunsar seeks to offer quality and affordable education to its students. Thus, the admission process to our degree programmes will be rigorous but fair and transparent.

General University Admission Requirements

The general minimum University of Lunsar admission requirement for an undergraduate ddegree programme is FIVE (5) Credits at the West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE) including Mathematics and English Language with a minimum grade of C6 in not more than two sittings or TWO (2) Credits of “C” or better at the General Certificate of Education, Advanced level (GCE ‘A’ Level).

Applicants with Higher Teachers Certificate (HTC) from a recognized institution with four credits including English Language and Mathematics at WASSCE or its equivalent will be admitted into the second year.

Departments of the University of Lunsar may have department-specific admission requirements.
